Not getting android notifications

Any suggestions why my iPhone is only getting notification alerts for iPhone to iPhone but anyone with an android does not show up on my banner or home screen or lock screen but instead it just shows a new message in my inbox if I open my phone and manually check. I’ve made sure my phone is completely up-to-date tried restarting it made sure all my settings were suggested online, even change my ringtone to see if that for some reason made a difference. Nothing is working any suggestions would be great!
