How do you use target disk and migration assistant iMac to imac

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

You don't Target Disk is totally separate from Migration Assistant. Target Disk mode is a manual method of dragging and dropping files & folders from one Mac to another. It is rarely used. Migration is an automated process and is MUCH MUCH more elegant. Please refer to Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant to migrate your data from your old Mac to your new Mac. Dead simple and it works 100% of the time.
