How can I copy my Apple Music library from Mac to Android

I have a large collection of music built up over the years and it lives on my iMac. Some are purchased from the iTunes store but most are loaded from CDs that I still own. I would like to be able to listed to this music on an Android phone but cannot find a way to copy the files across to the phone; all I can see are albums downloaded from the iTunes store.

Is there a way of copying files from the Mac to the phone in such a way that the phone can see and play them in Apple Music? (I can copy files but not in such a way that they are visible and playable).

iMac 24″, macOS 12.1

With using Apple Music on Android you may need to manually sync certain content over or utilize iTunes Match. However, we recommend checking out the article explaining the "Sync Library" feature here: Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music

Thanks for the information, that does clarify your question. There isn't a built-in way to move imported CD content from iTunes or a Mac to an Android device via iTunes or Finder. Sadly I don’t think this answers my question. I want to selectively copy music files from my iMac to my Android phone.

The answer given seems to allow shared access to an Apple Music library on the Internet, not music on my iMac, or to sync music across multiple devices rather than selectively copy music to the Android phone.

I hope this is clearer
