Recovery Mode Loop w/ 4013

Hi! Recently, my device got stuck in a boot loop. After restarting a few times and putting it into recovery mode, my phone is stuck in a Recovery Mode loop. Every time I start my phone, I get sent to the recovery mode screen.

When I try to use my computer to update or restore my phone, I always get error 4013. What happens is that the software extraction works fine, but when it comes time for the iPhone to prepare for the update/restore, it exits recovery mode and reenters its boot loop.

As soon as the update/restore fails because my phone left recovery mode, my phone re-enters recovery mode.

What should I do?

iPhone XS, iOS 14

Hello Wheeee5876,

After reviewing your post, it seems like the iPhone will not fully boot. There are a couple of things you can try that may be able to help. We would recommend you read these articles and use them to help troubleshoot the issue.

If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen

If you see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need additional assistance.
