Sharing custom domain with family members

I didn't share my custom domain with family members when I first added it. Now I would like to share it but cannot find any option to do it without deleting domain configuration first, I would like to avoid it so my question is whether it is even possible.

SOLVED!! you must go to each FAMILY members icloud account (or have them go there) select iCLOUD Settings > Custom Email Domain > Manage --- see the NEW domain, click it, and get the + on thier account! Add their new email address!!

I created my "family" sharable domain, and was only able to get it started with NO email addresses since mine wasn't an existing domain email for my new domain.

Once I got through Apple's setup steps and my new domain was verified, I was THEN able to add my new account under my new managed domain.

NEXT, I was able to get my wife's new email domain address added FROM HER family share account. From HER account, in iCLOUD Settings > Custom Email Domain > Manage --- I see the NEW domain, click it, and I get the + on HER account!

Yea!!!

Neither of these links answers the OP's question, The domain is already added, either it was a new custom domain or an existing domain. He has already done what is described in the other support articles. Now that the custom domain already exists, he then enabled family sharing, now he can't create an account for other family members for the custom domain that already exists.

The reason I'm so familiar with the issue is I have the exact same issue.

1) Added custom domain to a non-family enabled iCloud account.

a) Did NOT select share with family because the family didn't exist.

2) Subsequently enabled family sharing.

Now the question is:

3) How do I add an email address on the custom domain for the new family members?

I’m using 50G icloud+ plan

My family members failed to add custom email of the newly added domain even though they received invitation emails to do so after I added the domain.

Someone told me the 50G plan does not entitle the right to use the feature of Family Sharing. But my family members are sharing the 50G storage indeed.

any clues?
