what is the latest os for MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) 16 GB memory

Do I need to update it to Monterey? Will it be too much for my Macbook?

Your 2014 MacBook Pro does not meet the requirements for Monterey which are:

  • MacBook Pro Early 2015 and later
