Recently, after upgrading to macOS Monterey when working in multiple Safari tabs, a recently opened tab closes unexpectedly.
Even with the recent update 12.2.1 safari recently opened tabs close/vanish unexpectedly, which disrupt the workflow especially when logging in is required :/

After reviewing your post, it seems like there is an issue with Safari closing tabs. There are a couple of things you can try that may be able to help. We would recommend you use this article to help troubleshoot the issue.
If you reopen the tab, does it close it again?
Does this happen to all tabs or a specific one?
"Turn off Safari extensions
Even if your Safari extensions are up to date, temporarily turn them off to be sure they aren't affecting Safari in unexpected ways. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click Extensions. To turn off an extension, deselect its checkbox."
If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn’t working as expected

It happens to me too.
It can be any tab, not just specific ones.
Problems with both closing tabs (the open by themselves again shortly after being closed), opening tabs (closes again by themselves shortly after), and switching tabs randomly out of nowhere sometimes. For a minute I thought I was getting hacked..... but I'm not.
Also some tabs will be missing the url, even though I'm on a website, the url box will be like I'm in a new tab with no url in it yet. This also means I can't copy the url or reload the page (reload button not there bc it's like there's no url put in yet).
SO PLEASE FIX IT. It's annoying as ****...... I was getting so frustrated trying to shop for a costume today, because all of the above went nuts, and I had to just let the shopping go for today. The tabs were so out of control that I almost could not use safari, bc the things I opened randomly disappeared again, and things I discarded, kept opening again...
