Weird overlapping emails in my iPad inbox

Since recent updates in iOS (15.2) on my iPad , I have had weird overlapping emails in my inbox. I can’t access the mail underneath and the titles are impossible to read. Also, I have a blank space where an email is present. If I click on the blank space, an email opens. If I do a hard shut off, it seems to rectify the problem, but these glitches reappear.

Can I suggest that you are update to the latest iPadOS which is 15.3.1 (if you have not done this already) as updates can help resolve some problems. The following link can help you: https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT204204

This has been a reported issue in previous discussions which offered the following suggestions:

Force Restart your iPad as per the following link: https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/ipad/ipad9955c007/ipados, and
"I think I may have found the solution. Today I emptied my Junk mail and then emptied my Trash mail, forced closed email app and then turned off ipad - not hard reset, turned ipad on a couple minutes later. So far I do not have any overlapping emails".

Thank you for your suggestion. I had auto updates ‘on’ but my iPad hadn’t yet updated to 12.13.1. Nonetheless, this problem has existed through a couple of updates and seems to reappear. The update description doesn’t mention big fixes with Mail. Fingers crossed it stops happening. More of a nuisance than a major concern since I find that shutting off then on seems to correct issue until next time it happens.
