mini mac from 2011

The fan does not stop and no red light on front panel, otherwise unit works.

When the 2011 Mac is on, the default speed of the Exhaust Fan is 1800rpm. If the fan is running full blast at 5400rpm, then reset the SMC as per > https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295


If the SMC reset does not return it to the default speed, then you have a busted temperature sensor.


As for the front LED light, it should be on when the Mac Mini is on. If it is not, then it may have also been damaged by some poor DIY workmanship.
