Why Did Apple Make Changes to Hearing Aid Ring vs Speaker Options

Why did Apple remove the option to play ringtones through hearing aids only? With iOS 15 ringtones play through BOTH hearing aids and iPhone speakers. I recently worked with the Apple Accessibility Support and it was determined that Apple removed this option with iOS 15 in the MFi feature to select playing ringtones through the hearing aids only. This is very inconvienent in public settings such as funerals, church, meeting or discussions, etc. How do we get this feature turned back on?

Did you also try to send Apple Feedback about this issue?

Also, it may take a couple of iOS 15 updates, until this feature might come back.

The more users let Apple know via the Feedback Link about their wishes, the more likely it would be.

Thank you for the link. I will do that. Also note that your reply is marked as solving my problem, but that was in error. I don't know how to change it back to not solved, but I want to make sure this thread isn't closed as solved.
