Unable to sign in on Apple TV app on PS5

When I go to log in on the Apple TV app on the PS5, it refreshes and then says 'you have been logged out'. I have logged in both by typing in my details or by using the code and doing so on a mobile device.

Both trigger the same response, it refreshes and takes me back to the log in page.

I have done this 8 times.

I have updated the app and restarted the PS5.

I am unable to log in, I will cancel my subscription if the app won't work.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, registered with the same Apple ID account, then you can use the QR code.

Else sign in manually with your Apple ID account and password.


Can you sign in the the Apple TV app on any other device? Or on the website?


If this is with a new account, the verify that your entered all the user details for the account, verified the email address (respond to test message), and have added a valid payment method.
