Screen flickering on 16" macbook pro

My screen has started flickering rather as if the triggering of the video is intermittent.

It started off suddenly and sometimes appears to depend on how far I open the screen, I used to be able to find a "sweet spot" where it was normal but less and less and now it hasn't been normal for a few days.

There are 6 vertical stripes on the screen with spurious flickering up and down on them.

Hi,

Try to check your MacBook Pro with Apple Diagnostics if it's caused by hardware related issue(VFD001 to VFD007).

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

if hardware error is reported, contact Apple or take your computer to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store(Genius Bar) to learn which service and support options are available.

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
