My screen has started flickering rather as if the triggering of the video is intermittent.
It started off suddenly and sometimes appears to depend on how far I open the screen, I used to be able to find a "sweet spot" where it was normal but less and less and now it hasn't been normal for a few days.
There are 6 vertical stripes on the screen with spurious flickering up and down on them.

Try to check your MacBook Pro with Apple Diagnostics if it's caused by hardware related issue(VFD001 to VFD007).

There is no reported hardware fault but it does seem to be getting worse, often vertical bars of colour and black instead of a flickering readable screen now.
Don't think there are any Apple support places anywhere near here :(
