I have storage problems and I can't update my Mac to the latest version even though I reset it to factory mode

See this link on freeing up storage on your Mac: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206996 You will need about 12GB free at least to install Monterey.

Then once you have freed up storage, see this link for updating to macOS Monterey: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212735
