I have never used iCoud Drive, and have never encountered a storage issue going back at least 13+ years....

Typically in upgrading to a new machine I get the next larger SSD to accomodate increased needs in storage.

If you did not buy a mac with enough storage to suit your needs, you have a limited 14 days to return for a full refund or exchange for one that suits you better
