Can’t get all content on my tv app
but can on iPhone XS Max
assuming my Samsung tv Isn’t compatible

What is your model TV?
The Apple TV app is available for select models Samsung TV, as listed here: List of Apple TV app-supported smart TVs and third party streaming devices - Apple. If you have the Apple TV app on your smart TV, then it is compatible. Unlisted models TV will need to connect an Apple TV box or other compatible streaming device, to access the Apple TV app on the TV.
With the Apple TV app on your smart TV, you can access:
- iTunes Store movies and TV shows (buy or rent);
- Apple TV+ channel featuring Apple Originals, by subscription;
- other premium Apple TV app Channels, each by subscription.
The Apple TV app on iPhone may have a bit more functionality (e.g. local files, accessing Home Sharing).
