iCloud Photos

My iCloud Photos file has become bloated. I have taken the "approved" Apple steps to delete all photos but it looks like I have to wait for up to 30 days to finally get them out of iCloud. Is there any way I can speed up the process.

Mac mini, macOS 12.2

Use an internet browser and go to the Photos app in iCloud.com and tap Recently Deleted in the sidebar and then tap Delete All at the top right of the screen. Be aware that this step is irreversible and that your photos will also be deleted from Recently Deleted on all of your devices that have iCloud Photos turned on.

You can do the same thing in the Photos app on your Mac (Recently Deleted in Mac Photos sidebar) with the same result (and the same irreversible warning as above).
