I am trying to set up VO2max on my iPhone. I cannot find the "SET UP" button.
How do I set up VO2 on my iPhone.
Apple says tap "SET UP" button but I don't have such a button.
Thanks,
Tom

What model Apple Watch? An Apple Watch 3 or later is required.
What WatchOS version? Hopefully the answer is 8.4.2.
What other pertinent information are we missing? Perhaps it’s your country, something about health restrictions …
See especially “Set up Cardio Fitness Levels and turn on Notifications” in the article linked above.
I don’t really think you need to wear the Apple Watch for 24 continuous hours.
Sorry I don’t know what else to suggest.
I did just run across this recent article in case it provides additional insight.

Thank you for your reply. I have read and followed the steps in the article you reference many times.
But when I get to Step 3, I have NO SET UP BUTTON to tap.
I cannot get past Step 3.
That is my problem.
Thanks
My problem is I don't have a SET UP button on the VO2 max part of the Health app.
Is it possible that the reason I don't have a SET UP button is because my iPhone already has this set up. But when I look for data, it says NO DATA.
if I click on ADD DATA, it takes me to a page with the DATE, the TIME and a blank box labeled VO2 max and a flashing cursor that shows it wants me to enter something in this box. It also brings up the number keyboard for me to use to enter something in this VO2max box
Are you saying that I must wear my Apple Watch for 24 continuous hours?
I take it off at night and charge it.
So if I don't wear it for a straight 24 hours then it can't determine my VO2max?
Do you think this is the problem?
BTW, I am over the 20 years old criteria.
My country is USA.
I have Apple Watch series 5.
I have the latest software OS on my watch AND on my iPhone.
Thanks
From the article linked above:
Perhaps, I don't work out long enough and vigorously enough for the iPhone to collect VO2max data for me.
Thanks for all your effort to help me.
I really appreciate that.
I have an Apple Watch and iPhone but because of physical limitations, I have never personally used VO2Max.
Yes, a long and/or vigorous workout may be required.
Good luck with this.
