Unable to sign into account to redeem gift voucher

When trying to redeem a gift voucher in Itunes , I am unable to sign in to my account to do so.


I am able to buy tracks without any issue (nor having to sign in for that matter) but its impossible to redeem the gift card.


I have changed my password and still the same issue arises

What happens when you try signing in to your account to redeem the voucher? Do you get an error? If so, share that with us please.

Was the voucher purchased within the same country as the country you have set up for your iTunes & App Store account?

Thanks for the reply , I dont get an error as such the sign in screen just keeps reappearing without stating an error for userid or password - see screenshot below



I was able to buy two tracks without having to re-enter my password but not by using the gift card , payment was via my bank account as usual


Yes the voucher was purchased in the same country as my account was set up in.
