Bluetooth

After my Macbook Pro is repaired, new Top Case with Battery, there is a problem with Bluetooth.

During the night my Macbook Pro is in hibernation mode. Start working in the morning rather quickly the CPU temperature is increasing (92%) and also the fans start blowing. This is caused by BluetoothHD. When I put Bluetooth Off and On the problem is solved.

Of course this is not normal, what is the cause? and what can I do to solve this problem?

Hello Peter Riemens,

Apple Support Communities is a wonderful place for help with your MacBook Pro. From the description, it sounds as though you’re noticing abnormal temperatures and fan noise when first waking your Mac in the morning.

We're glad to know that turning off and on Bluetooth helps provide a resolution. In addition to those steps, we recommend the steps outlined in the section Check for unexpected heavy fan use of the following article.

About fans and fan noise in your Apple product

If you continue to have issues after completing those steps, you will want to check for any processes that may be using a large percentage of the CPU. You can find the steps for reviewing the processes in the article below.

View CPU activity in Activity Monitor on mac

After viewing what processes are using an abnormal amount of the CPU, you may find the steps to quit an app or process helpful in reaching a resolution. Those steps are outlined in the following article.

We hope you have a great rest of your week!

We’re glad you had the opportunity to reset the SMC and test the issue in safe mode, Peter Riemens.

In addition to those steps, did you have the opportunity to complete the steps in the previously linked articles outlining how to view CPU activity, and quit an app or process using Activity Monitor? If not, try those steps next as it outlines how to identify a process that may be contributing to this issue. If you continue to have the issue after those steps, you’ll want to proceed with contacting Apple. You can find their contact options online via the Get Support website.

Take care!
