Automated Device Enrollment

Hi,

I have two iPad Air 2 devices which were purchsed on the apple.ie site in 2017. We did not have an Apple Organisation ID at that time. I am trying to enroll them and connect them to ourApple Business Manager Account.

I spoke with someone in Apple yesterday but they said as they were not enrolled at point of sale it would have to be done manually. Manually requires a Mac. We do not possess a Mac. Are we dead in the water?

is there a solution?

I have three iPhones I also need to register. I think possibly I can have them enrolled via the reseller. Is that correct?

If you are managing Apple devices, you need to have a macOS device available. At one point, Apple Configurator was available on Windows, but that was discontinued some time ago. Some resellers may be able to retroactively enroll devices, but if your reseller is unable to do so, you will need a macOS device with Apple Configurator 2 in order to enroll the devices in Apple Business Manager.
