Sound issue since updating to OS Monterey 12.2.1

Good morning ,

Using a MacBook Air 2020 with OS Monterey 12.2.1 . Since the update to 12.2.1 playing songs on with Apple Music sound starts out bright and loud then within two seconds drops out and sounds dull and low. This only happens with Apple Music App and includes all music I have stored on Mac Book. All other media plays fine ie: you tube , any music on websites, or movies. I have checked all settings . Anyone else having this issue?

We understand you're experiencing an issue with unexpected volume change when using Apple Music. If you go to Choose Music > Preferences, click Playback, is Sound Check selected? If so, does disabling resolve the issue? Additional guidance if available here:


Adjust the volume in Music on Mac
