MS Office 2021 for Mac wants me to activate every time I open word / excel /powerpoint

I have spent days scouring forums and trying everything that has been mentioned. Whenever I open word I have to activate and go through the whole login to Microsoft enter name and password and then it is activated - this is so frustrating and no-one seems to have a solution - all sorts of copy and pastes into terminal (which actually made it worse because I then get the licence storage error) - Is there any new solutions to this problem? HELP

The only time I had this happen was when I was using a blacklisted license. Yes, Microsoft blacklists pirated keys and I ended up buying a new license as I needed the actual MS Office suite..

Regardless of the actual cause, you'll need to ask Microsoft just as BobTheFisherman suggests.

Microsoft no longer does phone activation, you'll need to use their chat utility.

Or you could use FreeOffice, LibreOfiice or one of the other MS Office rivals.

I have just bought the licence so it’s new and have product key etc as has been redeemed and activated. This error happens every time I open word or excel and really frustrating. Have tried to get Microsoft on line - it’s almost impossible

Maybe a question for the Microsoft Office Help Community. Sounds like something is not correct with the activation process.
