can I exchange Apple iMac purchased 1 month back (unopened) for a new Apple MacBook?
No, Apple has a 14 day return policy assuming you bought the product directly from Apple. As it seems you have gone over your 14 days, I would recommend you call AppleCare ( Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support ) and see if they will make any accommodation for you, however I do not expect they will.
