Are you comparing to a treadmill? I find in my gym there are no 2 treadmills that will show the same distance for me.

Make sure the your personal information is up to date in the health App.

Height, weight, age, sex

Then I would try resetting your fitness calibration data

From your iPhone>Watch>Privacy>Reset Fitness Calibration Data>Tap this

You will just get a confirmation box that tells you that your metrics will not be as good if you do this.

Tap confirm and do it. You will get nothing else, no confirmation but it is done.

Then go for a 20 minute outdoor run or walk using the workout app at your normal speed on a flat road/path etc

This will re-calibrate the watch.

I made sure all the measurements were correct (height, weight...etc.) and then reset all the calibration data. I went for a 20-minute walk to calibrate my Watch 6, yesterday. Today I used my elliptical (NordicTrack Freestrider). I exercised until I reached 600 calories on the Watch. I exercised for 8 miles to get 600 calories burned. I am 203# and should expend approximately 108 calories per mile.

Well, the information from the exercise based on the Watch 6 calculates to (600 calories per the watch/3.2 miles exercised per the Watch) or 188 calories per mile.

If I use the Freestrider's distance of 8 miles and the 600 calories from the Watch 6 the calculation is 75 calories per mile.

So, the results are 108 calories/mile, or 188 calories/mile or 75 calories per mile.

Quite a difference! Thoughts?

Thanks,

George
