Camera and Microphone

I updated to macOs Monterey and my camera or microphone don't work. How do I get them to work?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.1

Go to System Preferences>Security and Privacy>Privacy. In the left pane select Camera. Is Teams listed and checked in the right pane?

Same for Microphone.


non-Apple apps have to be listed and checked for the devices to work with other apps. The apps have to be coded to be added to the Microphone and Camera pnes. If Teams is not listed try reinstalling Teams.


Teams is listed and checked on my Mac.
