I bought an Imilab/Xiaomi webcam for my mac mini and the mic is not working properly. The sound is very muffled, there's a constant hiss with a few clicks. I tested this webcam on a PC and a different webcam on my mac mini, and they both worked. Any ideas of what I should do? I cannot find any specific drivers for this webcam.

Check with the Manufacturer of this device from Big Sur compatible Software / Drivers.
After all - it is their device to support.
Sorry but it they do not support their own Hardware - would be inclined to get the Hardware that does offer support.
I've checked, and they don't have any software or driver. They say it's just "plug and play". I was wondering if there's some system setting that I'm not aware, or an "universal driver"
