CarPlay Steering Wheel Skip no longer working

Something recently must have changed, as I'm no longer able to use my steering wheel to skip songs, nor go to previous ones. My car also seemingly doesn't detect the currently playing song, either. (2017 Honda Civic EX)

I'm currently running iOS 15.3.1 on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

I've tried:

1.) Restarting my phone

2.) Forgetting my car in CarPlay settings

3.) Deleting my phone from my car, and then pairing it again

4.) Different apps, Spotify/YouTube/YouTube Music/Apple Music all have the issue

Any ideas?
