Can I use Word 2011 with Monterey?

Can I use 2011 with Monterey? I loaded my old disk, but the icon for word just says I need to update. I have the update. I don't like it; it doesn't have the desktop publishing tools I need.

No. It's a 32-bit application and won't work in Catalina or newer.

You can only use Microsoft Office365 (subscription), or Office2021 which is a one-time purchase and a perpetual license.

Your 2011 package is 32-bit. MacOS has required 64-bit applications for the past few years I believe.

This is the subscription version of Office365

This is the one-time license to buy a perpetual license (Office2021)
