Why did my Find My IPhone Alert randomly go off on my phone on it’s own when I never activated it?

Why did my Find My IPhone Alert randomly go off on my phone on it’s own when I never activated it? This happened a couple days ago on my iPad and I changed my Apple ID password per the Apple Support recommendation and then just now on my phone the alert went off so am I supposed to change my password again?

Is someone trying to hack my account?
