iPhone XR charging
Can I charge iPhone XR with a magsafe battery pack?
I have an iPhone XR purchased new in 2021. Although the MagSafe battery pack doesn’t attach to the phone magnetically, it DOES charge the phone.
In fact, I already had been using an Apple Smart Battery Case on the XR, and much to my surprise, the Battery Pack charges the XR installed in the Apple battery case! I’m not nuts… I just lay the XR (in its case) on the battery pack, and I get the charging tone & icon. I bought the battery pack along with a new iPhone 13 at an Apple Store. I tried it with the XR just for fun… and the sales person was blown away!
