Which mac model is best for church recording studio?

Hi, I work as an engineer in a church recording studio.

I'm looking for a new desktop computer to record.

I've been using mac mini for years.

I have to record 15 vocal tracks and 20 instrument tracks during worship service every week.

(Logic Pro X with Dante system)

I believe i have 4 options... Mac mini, iMac 24, iMac 27, Mac Pro

I understand that price reflects performance.

But I've heard a lot of good reviews about the m1 chip model.

So, I am hesitant to purchase intel models. (iMac 27, Mac Pro)

Is this right idea?

If you have any good advice or recommendation for me.

Please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi there, as for the M1 chip, you might want to explore this thread: Terrible performance on M1 Pro 16 inch Ma… - Apple Community

Actually, if I were you, I'd keep my mind open in regards to Intel-based Macs. The main advantage of Mac Pro is, it has more hardware upgrade options, which other Macs obviously lack. Even the "trashcan" Mac Pro models which by now would be about 10 years old still perform quite well with Logic. And, of course, the main disadvantage of the current Mac Pro is its exorbitant price. But if you have the budget for it, then why not?
