Payment method failed for child

My child could not purchase anything in app store now which was perfectly working before,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! Sounds like your payment method is decline for your child in the App Store, is that right? Do they have a child account in your Family Sharing group? Are you able to download an app without an issue? We see that you're coming from this article: If Ask to Buy isn't working. Were you able to go through those steps?


You can also try the steps here: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store.
