What causes a thin blue vertical line to appear and stay on the right side of a iPad Pro M1 (landscape mode)

That is not something that should appear. If you rotate the iPad around 180 degrees, does that line remain in the same position, or does it move to the left side? It it moves, then it may be an artifact in the wallpaper you are using. If it remains on the right side, then it could be an issue with the touchscreen itself. I would try powering the iPad off and back on again. Does it remain? I would use the Get Support link at the top of the page here to contact Apple Support. Alternative would be if you have an Apple Store close by, make a Genius Bar appointment to have the device examined by Apple. They will explain your options.
