Since the latest Monterey update I am unable to access my wifi router admin page. I type in the Main Login address or the IP address in Safari and the page will not open, it just hangs. The WiFi is working but I need to manage the router settings.
Go to System Preferences network, advanced,TCP/IP. Check what setting you have in Configuration IPV4- Subnet Mask-- Router. Write them down just in case. Then go to WIFI and click on your router in the left pane and click the minus. Then click the Plus and re-add it. You will have to sign in again. The Configuration IPV4 is your computers IP address and of course your router address is the one you use to access it. I had you write down the addresses in case you have go back and manually add them in. Then try an login to your router.

Have you tried restarting your router? Unplug it you about 10 seconds. Also was your TCP/IP completely populated? In Network advanced DNS, should be your routers IP address in the left pane.
I did unplug it the first time it happened, but I did it again now and its working again. Thanks for all your tips and time!
Thanks, I tried all the steps and restarted the computer but I still can't get access. It hangs and doesn't connect.
