How to turn off 2FA?
Hi,
I’m trying to turn off 2 factor authentication on a recent created Apple Id but it just doesn’t let me… also, to create an apple ID a cellphone number is required (and it automatically activates 2FA). Help please!

You can't.
2FA cannot be turned off, once enabled.
Contact Apple Support:
It shouldn't have enabled it on its own. So, contact Apple Support, making sure that all is set up as it should be. Have them run you through setting up an account.
Apple Contact Info:
Why the Wait:
Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
