Music to USB Flash Drive

I need to rip music from my personal CD collection to a USB Flash Drive for an online radio show I host (all legally!). I understand I need to download it to Music first. Do I need to change any settings to ensure the best quality transfer of songs from CD to Music? From Music to Flash Drive?

You should be certain what format the music files need to be in. By default Music will rip the CD into AAC files. Make sure whatever you are playing them in supports the format or change it to MP3 Encoder in Music->Preferences->Files->Import Settings

Copying the files to a USB drive will not alter their quality in any way.
