I try and make an appointment for the genius bar, but when I select my issues, it only gives me the message or call option. I've tried all the things that I've seen on other apple discussions but it always ends the same, any help?
See if the store you use is doing Genius bar visits at this time. Some stores may be short-staffed or in areas that still have COVID restrictions in place, so you need to start by checking store status.

This is especially useful for older models or those out of warranty. Many of the senior contributors here had our first Macs long before some of the store staff lost their first baby teeth!

What is the issue you are having. They try to keep Genius Bar appointments to hardware issues.
