Speakers and tv section

I want to remove the devices listed in my speakers and tv section but I don’t know how . The reason for is sometimes they would randomly connect when I’m not in that area of my home or even tap on the icon . I would like to get rid of them so it won’t be a bother thank you

Hi AniLi,

the ‘speakers and TVs’ section (listing your HomePods) is part of what you’ve added to your Apple Home app. The HomePods install and operate via the Home app. You can’t delete them. However, you can assign them to a different room.

I think the troubleshooting you want to proceed with is why they “randomly connect”. When you say randomly connect, what is happening?
