I organise some music events so in Mail I have a mailbox with subfolders for each artist, but I do a lot of work on iCloud and there all the sub folders are showing and there seems no way of collapsing them which means i have to scroll down through over fifty sub folders to reach the next mailbox. Is there no way around this? I feel I have missed some obvious solution but cannot find an online answer.

There is not a way to hide folders in the Mail app on the iCloud website. This is something you can do in the Mail app via macOS and possibly via third-party email clients though checking their capabilities through the developer would be the best way to find out for sure.

We understand that when using the iCloud website to view emails, you’re looking for an option to collapse folders. You are correct, however, that collapsing folders is not an option in the Mail app on the website.
