Black Imac screen after login.
why is my screen black after login? i open my imac and it brings me to the login, after i put in my password the screen goes black and i can only see the cursor.

Startup in Safe Mode and login.

Then restart normally and test.
If the problem is fixed, then you are good to go.
If the problem is not fixed, then check your Startup Items and or Reinstall macOS.
