How can I set my apple music preferences to NOT automatically add any wav, mp3, aiff etc that I click on to the library? I'm a musician with protools and sometimes I'm just trying to figure out if it's the kick drum or a guitar and the **** track gets add to my player so then I have to go and delete it. This is a pain in the butt.

iTunes (and Music) are designed so that way. To avoid it, use a different player as your default, such as QuickTime of VLC. Use one of them if you only want to sample the track and not have it added to the library.
