HomePod from Japan Voltage Converter

I bought a HomePod large from Japan and am not sure if voltage converter is need to operate in the US. Do I need a step up voltage converter for Japan’s 100v to US 120v? Or can I just plug it right into the outlet in the US?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Shruz, I think you’re good to go and you do no need voltage conversion. It took a bit of digging but I found HomePod’s built in power supply rating info on an old discussion here on the forum.

The built in power supply is rated 100 to 240.

So your issue is plug type. Fortunately the U.S. and Japan, I believe, use the same plug type type A or B.
