I have set up folders in my email account to organize incoming emails into business, family, church, etc. as I did on past computers, and I move emails from my inbox into these folders. But, nothing is there when I look. How do I retrieve lost information? What should I be doing?

If you move your cursor to the right of each mail account a + sign and carat should appear. If you click on the + you can add available mailboxes. If you click on the carat it will change direct Click on it so the carat shows down ⌵.

To add it to a reply
Click on the add image icon right below the test entry box
add Add image image
After clicking on the icon you are present with a Finder like windows. maneuver to find the image file you want to post and click on it and select Open in bottom right or double click on the image file to add the image in the text reply box.

What probably happened is that they are hidden. Move the cursor near the relevant account in the Sidebar. The word Show will appear. Click it.
The title says the emails were moved to other folders. However, the body implies that the email messages are not in the Mail app.
Are the email present in the Mail app?
They are not in the folders where I expected them to be. How do I check to see if they are in the Mail app?
