FN key not recognized on bluetooth keyboard - iPad

Hi, after connecting a bluetooth keyboard (Logitech MX keys) to my iPad (7th gen, running iPadOS 15), and allowing Full Keyboard Access, any shortcut involving Fn key (e.g. Fn + N to access the notification center) is not working. Even when trying to manually program any keyboard shortcut command, when pressing Fn key in combination with any other button (e.g. FN + S) on my keyboard, Fn is not recognized and only ‘S’ appears. Seems like my iPad does not recognize the Fn key on my keyboard. Anyone else experiencing this please?

Hello there FilipF,

Thanks for posting here on the Apple Support Communities! This is a place where other Apple users can submit questions or respond to others to help lend a hand. Let's take a closer look as we do our best to provide some additional insight.

We understand you're having an issue with the FN function on your third-party keyboard. To get started, does the same thing happen while using any other kind of Bluetooth keyboard with the same iPad? The reason we ask is if it only happens with this one specific keyboard, then you may want to contact Logitech support for more help.

If the same thing happens with other keyboards as well, be sure to restart your iPad and also check for any software updates as well:

We hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction.

Take care.
