I cannot find where my passwords are saved

On macOS, passwords, notes, certificates, and other sensitive info are all stored in the keychain.
To view your keychains, launch Keychain Access app from Applications > Utilities.
You can also access the saved keychain passwords via Safari, as mentioned in the previous reply.

Are you referring to online passwords? Safari Menu > Preferences > Passwords
