What is the actual size of System Data?

System data is just that; it is data needed by iOS. It would be unusual for it to take up post of your storage; perhaps your phone has storage corruption; if that is the reason you can restore your phone to a backup.

I have tried everything suggested and nothing has worked. Extremely frustrating.
Hi Behemoth, did you end up figuring out how to fix it? Just bought a brand new iPhone today and System data is taking up more than half of my storage :/
