Youtube doesn't "hold" the video i'm watching when switching apps.

Hello

My issue is that when I watch a video on YouTube, and that I must switch app for a moment, when I came back to YouTube, the app has offload my video and is going back to the main page.

I thought I understood that it is related to the RAM management of my phone.

My question is what setting, technique or other parameters can I use/modify to prevent YouTube from offloading the video I'm currently watching.

Complementary info : My device is an iPhone 8 with iOS 15.3.1 installed.

Ignore the iPhone 5C, iOS 10 written below the post.

Thank you.

Hi there Ludovic24,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you need some help with the YouTube app on your iPhone. We’ll be happy to assist.

Follow this guide to troubleshoot the app behavior: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

If that doesn’t help, you’ll want to reach out to the app developer for further assistance.

Best regards.
