Smart punctuation

Smart punctuation seems to have stopped working since last iOS update. I have switched on and off and hard reset and still not working.

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help with Smart Punctuation in iOS. It sounds like it isn't working correctly for you.

Was this the iOS 15.3.1 update where you noticed this issue?

Which apps does it not work in?

Hi Michael, thanks for help. Yes seems to be since latest iOS update 15.3.1. Doesn't work for any typing either in message, what's app or email. However seems to mainly be the smart punctuation for "full stop". Should be able to hit space bar twice for a full stop and doesn't work. Other smart punctuation working like apostrophes.
