Macbook lags when charging battery and works normal at 100%

I have a macbook 8,1 that lags a lot while charging the battery, but once it's 100% works normally as if nothing happened.

Recently this macbook got the WIFI flat cable replaced and the battery as well (the old one was swollen).

Because of this, the new battery got damaged because it didn't get properly calibrated.

Already tried SMC and PRAM reset.

Anyone with a similar case?

Hi xkimbaz,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. As we understand it, your Mac performance is slower while connected to a charger. Is that right? We'd like to see if we can help out.

Does this happen if you try a different outlet? If you have an alternate charger available, you might try that as well.

Also, when the issue is happening, you may want to check out Activity Monitor to see if you can identify a specific process that's using heavy resources in the % CPU column: View CPU activity in Activity Monitor on Mac

We also saw you stated the issue started after a repair. If you don't find any software causes in Activity Monitor, it may be a good idea to next get in touch with the technician who performed the repair.

Kind regards.
