Macbook Pro M1 extend screen issue
I can mirror screen, but option to use iPad as extended screen not available. Software updated on both devices. Please advise.

Hi KEVSAIT,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you do not have the option to extend your Mac desktop using Sidecar and we'd like to assist.
Has this ever worked for you? Just to confirm everything is set correctly, follow this: Use an iPad as a second display for a Mac
Do you have any other displays connected?
Have you tried testing this issue while booted up into safe mode or under a test user account?
How to use safe mode on your Mac
Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac
Delete a user or group on Mac (to remove the test account once completed)
Keep us posted on your findings and if the issue persists, just let us know.
Cheers!
